As part of the celebration of 175 years of Rossall School, each House has been set a challenge to stage a charity event. Which will raise money for The Rossall Foundation. As this also coincides with the opening of our fantastic new sports hall, MF and Wren have decided to join forces and attempt to break a World Record!!

On Wednesday 18th September we will be hosting an exhibition hockey match in which we will attempt to break the World Record for the most number of players participating. The guidelines are that each player must play for 10 minutes and touch the ball at least once to count towards the record. The number currently stands at 367 so we would like to invite as many members of the Rossall community to join us in this exciting challenge! No experience necessary – just lots of enthusiasm! A donation page has been set up and there will also be opportunities to donate on the day.

We anticipate that the match will need to last at least 8 hours for us to break the record but we would only require 30 minutes of your time. If you would like to join us please complete the jot form as all participants must be pre-registered.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact either Emma Williams (e.williams@rossall.org.uk) or Sam Roberts (s.roberts@rossall.org.uk).
