We are very sad to hear of the passing of Old Rossallian and former Rossallian Club President George Ayres. 

George was a proud Old Rossallian and was still very much invested in Rossall School and kept in touch with everyone at Rossall. George was a lovely man and we were very pleased to have known him. 

His wife, Diana has passed on the below funeral detials:

Date     - Tuesday 23rd July 

Time   - 11am 

Location - St Michael and All Angels Parish Church , Bramhall , SK7 2PG 

This will be 100% a celebration, so no mourning. Please wear bright colours 

The party for George afterwards will be at a boutique hotel , set in a lovely park, and a stone's throw from our house. 

Diana has said that it would be lovely to see any of his special Rossallian friends, if they can make it, but we understand commitments, infirmity etc. Diana also welcomes phone calls from those who knew George, if you would like to get in touch with her, please contact development@rossall.org.uk
