An early Christmas celebratory OR reunion was hosted by Mike Jones at the Oriental Club on 30th November with a splendid curry luncheon. In all sixteen OR’s attended, including 6 who had left the school in 1963 meeting specifically there to celebrate the 60 years which had passed since leaving. These six were David (Joe) Sisson, Duncan Mc Phee, John Milne, Steve (Sid) James, Chris Gardener, Michael Hewitt.  In addition in the photograph were two leavers, Peter Bailey, & Ian Bowden who left Rossall in 1962 along with the current Chairman of Council, Chris Holt and also, at the behest of Messers James, Milne and Sisson, Sarah Whale daughter of John Whale who was house master of Mitre at that time and a firm favourite. 

A glass was raised to absent friends. The party had a short update from Chris Holt on the current status of the school its academic and sporting achievements. Much attributed to the current Head Jeremy Quartermain. 

All things being equal, we will try to hold a similar event next year.
