A huge congratulations goes out to Old Rossallian, Samuel Moore (Pe, 2000-05) who recently won the Contemporary Music Prize in the 2025 Vienna International Music Competition. Here’s what Samuel had to say:

“I'm delighted to have won this award as some of the best concert musicians in the world enter this competition! However, at moments like this it's important to remember that an achievement such as this is not the work of one person. Many people, institutions and companies have played a role in shaping my musical journey over the years. Rossall has been part of this process and I am proud to be an alumnus of Rossall School (2000-2005).”
